FAQ

Small Engine Service & Repair Questions

Quick answers before you load a mower, generator, chainsaw, trimmer, or other equipment.

Do I need to request service before bringing equipment?

Yes. Drop-off is by appointment. Send a service request before bringing anything to the shop.

Is pickup and delivery available?

Ask about pickup and delivery for larger equipment in Hall County.

How long does repair take?

Timing depends on the equipment, the repair, and parts availability.

What equipment should I ask about first?

Send a service request before bringing boat motors, ATVs, motorcycles, golf carts, automotive engines, or heavy equipment.

What should I send in the service request?

Send your name, city, equipment type, make and model if you have it, what the equipment is doing, and whether it currently runs.

Can old fuel cause starting problems?

Yes. Old gasoline is a common reason small engines will not start, only run with choke, surge, or clog the carburetor.

Can you quote a repair cost before inspection?

The symptom does not always identify the cause. I inspect the equipment and talk through the next step before repair work continues.
